Just a fun thread to see what everyones next car will be.
Not a dream car but the car you will get next.

I am still trying to figure it out, but im leaning towards a Boxster, 944 turbo, or even a Karmann Ghia.

    Whats next for you??

A Ferrari... not really... realistically speaking I'd like to get a mid 90s Miata sometime next year to autox.

    Either a

    92-94 512TR
    95 F512M
    04 600SL
    or a 97 850Ci

Not completely sure what and when yet. If I can find the right F512M I am going to try and stretch for it as much as possible, but I cannot completely justify a TR or 600 over investing at this moment, not to mention my few cars keep me more then busy and my pocketbook 'well abused'. If I can find a nice low mileage 8er in the right combo with good service though, I would not mind adding it to my small collection...

Opposite ends of the spectrum here...

Either the Ultima GTR or the ISO Rivolta with...a major heart transplant.

On one hand, I can build the GTR how I want to build it. A decent FI Chevy engine, 500+ HP. Every stage of build done the way I want it. New parts, none of this restoration of parts nonsense.

On the other hand, the ISO is a pretty car, a sleeper at that, with 500+ HP also sounds nice. It would be a decent car with a modern engine and brakes, adding in a few new suspension bits...and it doesn't come in an arrest me now body work.

Either way, whatever car I choose will use the same engine, and I can start looking at building that engine now.

I know, I've brought it up. Spoken with several people about them and I think the biggest issue is that I probably don't fit without modifying the seat track. I want to get a look at one close up before I make a decision.

The other cars I don't mind buying sight unseen as I driven them before.

I'm planning on FINALLY getting a Ferrari for my next car specifically a 308gtsiQV. I would like to keep my S2000 and add the 308 so hopefully that will be the case.

The next one isn't before a while. Well ... 2 years probably. I still have college to finish. But then ... mmmh. Will probably lean towards an M55 or something of the likes. A tad longer term, I hope to get a Murci and use it as a daily driver. Until my back is ruined. As well as my wallet.

Me too. A nice inline 6 XJR will be the sedan I will always keep around before setting my sights and my savings on something more sporty. Unfortunately, for me it takes a lil longer to get what I want! :)

    How about a red 74?

And I think a Civic Si would be good as a first car... cheap, reliable, warranty, slick rally stick on the dash... I love that feature! I also think a Civic hatch would really throw everyone at school off... the Ferrari kid in a white Civic hatch! Ha! :D

I'll probably pick up an '02 Z06 next year. The price should dip to about $30k or below by then. I haven't owned a big V8 domestic machine since the mid-'80s. The Z06 seems to get so many things right - great power and handling, relatively modest weight, good looks. The only thing that slightly bothers me is the interior.
