Unfortunately +1 I can see him replacing Webber at RB if he calls it quits next year. But not Ferrari. They didn't exactly part on good terms...
Redbull would be the perfect place for KR IMO, especially if Vettel leaves for Ferrari. But I can see him replacing Webber too. But what's his contract deal with Lotus?
"I think so I like life at Lotus. No political BS like at Ferrari." IIRC, he's signed thru the end of 2014. He's also said he's very happy there, is lying a pretty solid third in the title chase *and* is winning my bet with Isobel! Forza The Iceman! Cheers, Ian
Red Bull would be a good fit for Kimi, but not replacing Vettel. As long as Alonso is at Ferrari, and performing 100% as he is now, the second driver at Ferrari would need to be someone not into politics. And not a #1, but a #1.5 driver. Like Webber who has stopped complaining about RB as he did last year. If Kimi goes to RB, it would be to replace Webber, who would then be happy to have a decent ride and could go to Ferrari. As long as RB gives Vettel a winning car, there is no reason for Vettel to leave RB at his young age. SV/KR would be a good combination. Maybe after 4 WDCs, Vettel may consider retiring at Ferrari, but even then, doubtful Vettel goes to Ferrari. If Lotus can not improve in 2013 at least one step, look for Kimi to go for a different ride in 2014. Kimi's departure from Ferrari was fiancially rewarding for Kimi, did not cost Ferrari the $$, and gave Kimi a chance to fulfill his interest in Rally. So Ferrari or RB could be in Kimi's future. Nevertheless, the 2014 Ferrari driver line-up is very likely already a done deal. Wait for Monza 2013 for the announcement. And if Massa performs..........
Thank God for Nico (and/or the hapless WO3, Shoe scores next to no points even if NR dnfs) keeping things even. To date, that is....
+1 They're not doing too badly right now IMO; A solid 3rd in the WDC and 4th in the WCC - With that due to their lunatic second jockey - If he could get to the end, they'd probably be in 2nd or 3rd..... No need for him to jump ship. Cheers, Ian
+1 Why they will forever be known as "Fauxtus"..... [Not mine, another Is'm of course ] I wonder whatever happened to Colins hat in the glass case that used to be with what is now Caterham? Cheers, Ian
No way. Kimi is not a corporate cheerleader and does not kneel before any man or shields, even if a horse is prancing on it.
