Gents. I recall a post from a good brother detailing the refurbishment of his wheel arch fender liners. I think he used flexible primer and/or stone guard. It was a terrific post. Explicit with pictures. I want to do this job and refer to his post but I can't find it to save my life. Anybody else remember it? Can anyone direct me to it?

I should update that thread as I used a few new products to obtain a better result, that thread was a few years back now and on a friends car.

After the initial clean, sanding and prep work. I use a fiberglass specific primer, stoneguard from Wurth and top coat with Wurth Matte Black. Comes out magic.

To clarify, do you use Wurth Stone Guard followed up with Wurth Flat Black Lacquer?

    Thanks!

Correct. But first it was primed with a fiberglass primer which really helps with adhesion. Some wax and grease removers don’t mix with fiberglass so only clean the surface with Mineral Turpentine or Methylated Spirits.
