I've found conflicting information with my google searches and couldn't find the answer when searching this forum. Does someone know the wheelbase and overall length of the TRC body? Are all TRC bodies the same dimensions? Specifically looking for wheelbase and length for '57 625 TRC.

    Thank you in advance.

500 TRC wheelbase = 2250 mm according to a number of sources including Ferrari. RM Auctions stated wheelbase of 625 TRC 0680 MDTR as 2250 mm at 2012 auction. There were only 2 625 TRC cars, 0672 MDTR and 0680 MDTR.

I do notice that one source gives the 625 TRC wheelbase as 2350 mm and another 2500 mm which seems way over.

Thanks, that is the conflicting information and I find 2250 mm (88.5 inches) seems so close, as the car looks so long and slender.

I am quite sure it is 98 inches (2489mm).

The only source that I found for the length of a 500 TRC was one of Dean Batchelor's books which states it as 155 inches, 7.5 inches shorter than a 250 TR (same source).

    Width = 64.5 inches.

Height = 38 inches to top of headrest.

    Wheelbase of 250 TR = 2350 mm.

Question for Vintage Ferrari: Is the reason your question is in this section because you are intending to make a 625 TRC replica?

Not all 250 TR have 2350 mm wheelbase. Some are 2320 mm.

I am making a 1:5 scale version of the body. From pictures of 0608, the #211 car I have the overall length, relative to the wheelbase is 1.73 times as big. Just need to know what the wheel base is or I guess for that matter the overall length.

Did all the TRC cars use the same frame?

I did. My question was the frame, not the body.

You may need the drawings for the length of the frame. I believe the frame tipo for the 500 TRC was 518C. I'm sure you know the C in TRC refers to Appendix C, changes/requirements in which are said to be directed mainly at the bodywork.

I'll check what I made the one I built and post it soon.
I don't exactly replicate so I wouldn't go off mine.

0680 has a 250 3 litre V12 engine in your picture. The original 625 had a 4 cylinder 2.5 litre engine. What about the gearbox? Does it use a different one from 500 (625)? Might the wheelbase be different from original due to these factors?

There is a gentleman that is building replicas, and he took measurements from a real one at the time when all the measurements were done.

I believe he posted here as well.

Do you know the chassis number of the car he took the measurements from?
