I just received a set of iForged wheels for my 430 - with no bolts. Calling iForged was hugely unsatisfying - they had no idea if the stock bolts would work - their advice was, "try it, it ought to work...".

The rear wheels are 20" x 13" and the fronts are 19" x 9". I am (assuming) that the wheel manufacturers are clever enough to get all of the offsets correct, but if anyone on the forum has advice, I'm open to it. I'm also willing to buy whatever necessary hardware it takes to make it a sound upgrade.

    thanks

The standard 360 wheel bolt is 3 inches or 76.2mm long. The 430 may have the same length wheel bolts, even though the wheels have changed from 18" to 19" in diameter. See how you go I guess. :)

With the wheel unmounted, stick a OEM wheel bolt thru your OEM wheel and measure how much thread protrudes beyond the inside mounting face. You will also notice that the thread stops about even with the surface of the mounting face. You will want the same characteristics from the wheel bolts for your new wheels. So if you stick the same bolt thru your I-forged wheel and it sticks out less (or the smooth shank protrudes), then this is probably a dangerous situation. If it sticks out more, then it *might* work as long as it doesn't bottom out at the wheel hub (been there, done that, but caught it quickly). I cut 5mm off one set when this happened to me, which brought them back in-line with the amount that the OEM setup sticks out. My experience with SAC and Kinesis has been that they require much shorter bolts than the OEM Ferrari wheels. Sometimes you can find bolts from another model Ferrari or from a Lambo that are the right length, but in general I've had to have custom bolts made. I had very good experience with hill-engineering on this. Tell him the length you need and he will recommend another bolt if he knows it will work, or will make you a custom set. I went overboard and had him make a set of titanium bolts for my track Kinesis rims. They took over a month but are very nice.

The SAC wheels do take different bolt lengths and the head size is much smaller at 17 mm diameter as opposed to the OEM 27 mm diam head.

Ryan Sabga was a big help providing me longer bolts for my rears so that I could add 15 mm spacers. I have SAC wheels.

I understand that the OEM bolt is 52 mm total length with 20 mm of thread. So, I believe you need about 10-12 mm of available thread for the hub flange to securely mount your wheel.

I'd push a bolt through the new wheel and measure how much is exposed. Then make a spacer of the amount of measurement that represents the portion of the bolt w/in the wheel.

Push the bolt thru that spacer and hand screw it into the wheel flange. You should have, I believe, about 4-5 mm of thread beyond the flange.

This is the only way you'll know if it will bite properly.

I did this to make sure that the newer bolts Ryan provided me would properly bite into the flange and would not overly protrude beyond the flange to bind.
