Hello, Searching for a set on-line. Do I need a ceratin height, width , etc.? Any recommendations? I found a pair at "raceRamps.com" Gonna check our sponsors too. Thanks.
I buy a lot from Griots to include their chocks and they work great. http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/in+your+garage/jacks+%26+stands/wheel+chocks.do?search=basic&keyword=chock&sortby=newArrivals&page=1
I also have the harbor freight chuck but recall the store price was substantially under the catalog price of $10. The hard rubber has a good feel.
I use Aircraft chocks when it is parked in my garage (no need to leave it in gear, and no need to engage the parking brake). They are a front/back set which is best, since you only need to chock 1 wheel, and the set is connected with a rope so you can easily pull them away (and I have a hook on which I hang them). http://www.sportys.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?&did=19&product_id=950
Thanks. Gonna head over to Walmart to ck theirs out, sometimes I just cant wait... Otherwise HF and didnt think to check out griots either.... Thanks again..
Gee, I just use a scrap piece of 2X4. When I back the car back into the garage I merely back to the wood and shut it down. If I tracked it I would probably use a scrap peice of 4X4 cut diagonally lenght wise for the pits.
