In the struggle to get my car done correctly, I wasn't able to find a stencil or good labels for the 14" wheels, so I was able to create them now. For a set of 6- they are $350 including shipping. 6 because you just never know.

These can be used as a stencil and painted through and pealed off- would recommend a professional for this or they can be applied as a sticker.

If one uses a painter, the stencil needs to be removed in about 5 min, so the paint edge will soften and look correct. Also need a very steady hand and a pick tool.

PM me or send e mail to [email protected] I can send you the additional instructions. I'll post some pictures soon, or look at the 308 on BaT right now the blue one to see the hi res detail on the lettering.

I'll also be doing the 16's soon as well for the later model cars.

    Thank you,
    Brian

I used PPG single stage- FER 101 I think it was. The silver from the day, after reading all the posts here about the era correct color. Takes a bit to sand them and get them good enough to paint. Lots of work, and the painted wheel info is the best. Really looks correct on the car now. I had the stickers but they just didn't look good up close.

    Thanks for the info.

I’ve given up on the idea of sanding as the Ferrari lettering on the casting isn’t visible (Cromodora’s). After talking with some airplane guys, I’m going to blast with glass beads at low pressure, then use PreKote instead of Alodine. Then prime and filler as needed. We will see how that works.

I might go a little more silver on the paint, but not much. I really like how you’re turned out.

    Thanks again.
