    Hey everyone! I have a 2011 458 with front lift, and the wheel gap in the front is large; I can get nearly four fingers between the tire and fender in the front and three in the back. Oddly enough, when I measured the gap from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender, it’s right at 2” front and rear, despite the fact that it looks much higher in the front. I’ll attach some pictures with my measurements. Two inches doesn’t sound like much, but it looks ridiculous in person.

    I also took a front wheel off to see if I could tell how much it could be lowered on the stock springs, but I couldn’t see any discernible threads or adjustment rings (unless they’re under the dust boots). I’ll attach some pictures of the front shock and spring.

    Does anyone out there with front lift have measurements of their ride height or wheel gap? Also, if anyone has measurements after having the car lowered on stock springs, that would be highly appreciated! At this point, I’m trying to decide if it’s worth it to attempt to lower the car on the stock springs or go with aftermarket springs to get the ride height corrected. It needs to be lowered at least an inch in the front IMO, and slightly less in the rear to make it look even. Thanks for any help!

    Agreed, IMO stock is way too high. Here's mine w/ the Novitec setup w/ rear spacers, can't help you w/ lowering stock springs...

    My 448 doesn’t look that high with the axel lifter raised all the way up, that’s a pretty big gap. Doesn’t appear that you have the adjustable perch on the bottom of springs. The gap on mine is 1 1/4

    That looks much more reasonable to me. The gap on mine is so big that I never even need to use the lift.

    That looks great! Do you have the front lift on your car? If so, does it still get high enough to be useful?

    I guess the 488 sits lower, mine also has adjustable perches but not sure if I lower it anymore because it’s already hard to get on the lift.

    Does your car have front lift? If so, do you have any pictures of the shock and spring setup to see the adjustable perches?

    Found a picture online. The threaded collar & sleeve sits beneath the lift system. Looks like it’s under that black dust cover on 1 of the pictures you posted

    Sorry, couldn’t get all the images to work. The measurement in the technical manual are:

    Stock Ride Height Set Up - Page 973 in the Ferrari Technical Manual
    Front = 139.4 +- 5mm
    Rear = 165.8 +- 5mm

    Thanks! I thought that might be the case, but I didn’t want to mess around too much with anything just in case.

    Thanks, I appreciate the help! I have a PDF of the manual, but I never thought to check in there for ride height or how to adjust it. I’ll have to take a look and see what else it says.
