I would appreciate a recommendation for a reputable wheel refurbisher in the Los Angeles/Orange County area for my Cromodoras. Would you suggest the wheels be repainted or powder coated? Thanks!

If you're talking about someone to fix curbed/scraped wheels I would call Son Tran, Onsite Wheel Conditioning at 714-742-6855. :)

Here's another place that does refinishing. There are many if you do a search.

Thanks, Jon! Nice to have a personal recommendation versus taking a chance on a web search. Maybe I can return the favor some day. Bob

If you need someone local to fix your curb rashed wheels or scraped, gauged wheels check us out..............we use a patented "Wheel Lathe System" which will allows us to evenly correct the defects.......rashed area is repaired, wheel gets OEM paint and then clear coated for uniformity, protection and gloss.
Here is a youtube video on our wheel repair services, this video shows an Aston Martin DB9 wheel being repaired using our system and techniques.....

Those are magnesium wheels and AFAIK strip, prep and especially sealing the alloy prior to painting is critical. Just make sure that whoever does the work has experience with this metal. Stripping of the existing finish should be using the "crushed walnut shell" technique. Word of caution, magnesium is a flamable metal.

+1 for Son Tran. He is mobile I think does alot of work for dealerships on the West side during the week. He has fixed issues with wheels on several of my cars, including my son's car which needed to custom paint match which he did perfectly.
