I just had Wheels America in Miami true and refinish all four wheels (OZ) off a 84 countach and they were great (These wheels were way out of round).
Flat rate could not be beat.

Thanks, guess I'm next with Turbax.

I had Wheels America do some work for me just after they opened 3 years ago or so.
They did a pretty good job, but Turbax may be a bit of a step above.

I went to Wheels America in my long journey to find the best repair/refinish shop. I can't say anything about the finished product of W.A. since I didn't use them. However, hands down, Turbax has a MUCH more refined and professional facility. Plus, Sergio at Turbax really took a personal interest in making sure my wheels would be done right.

I didn't need an esspresso or Terazzo floors when I had the Lambo wheels done so I choose Wheels America and you can't beat the price. :)

I wasn't implying there were these types of things that made me pick Turbax over W.A. In fact, neither Turbax nor W.A. had these items. Both places were factory-type workshops.

Instead, I looked at the equipment, processes used, volume of business, attitude of staff, cleanliness and organization of the operation, and finished products waiting to be picked up.

Again, I have never used W.A. so I can't comment on the end product there. However, at least for me, after visiting each shop, I felt more comfortable spending a few dollars more on the shop I had more confidence in. And, I am glad I did!!!

Anyone have an Orlando/Daytona area recommendation for painting these?

If it is just a repaint, can any paint/body shop do the work?

I don't know, but more than likely they could. However, why have a body shop do it? A professional wheel repair/refinish place has the equipment to dismount, remount and balance your tires once the paintwork is done.
