    FWIW - I have some curb rash on one wheel also, was quoted ~$140 to refurb whole wheel...

    If you go to a skilled rim shop they will be able to repair the damage and then paint only the lip of the wheel. Because the lip ends on a sharp edge, it will be possible to break the colour and then clear the whole wheel. This will be a PERFECT repair that maintains the total original colour.
