I'm getting ready to put my stiock wheels back on for while, but they need touch up. I'd prefer to completely respray them, but I don't want to lose the lettering.
I saw a thread on the TR group where someone had a cad drawing made and then had custom transfers made. I have not such skills.
Anyone have a source for these letters? Pics of existing lettering below:

If someone gives me a very good straight-on photo and dimensions (best would be ID and OD plus horizontal total length), I will draw the graphic vector file for the lettering and see if I can have the decals made locally.

    Hi John

Thank you, the photos are good. Two things:
    1) The lengths given is horizontally across the the curved type?
    2) Could you give me the approx radius of the base line of the type?

    Thank you.
    Urs

    Thanks.
Yes the length measured is straight across the type.
I'm away from the car this week, I'll pull more measurements as soon as I am able.

I think the approximate radius of the base line is 3.0976 in. Based on measurements sent me from home.

Thank you... r=79mm, but that can't be ;-)
Roughly: 16" wheel's OD is 440mm > r=220mm. The logo being placed somewhat further in, it must be around 190mm.

Thank you John. I haven't found any print shop yet that can produce water transfer decals. I will try to test the inkjet printer variety to see whether it resists clear coating after application.

    Hi ,

I hope you guys can reproduce this decal / sticker . According to my graphic designer she will need a laser cutter to cut this small decal. Unfortunately she does not have one . I hope when you guys can have them made there in the USA I hope I can purchase them .

    Best regards,

    audio research

I will try to get them printed as water-transfer decals, not adhesives. I agree that it would be too small to be practical as a cout-out sticker. It needs to be applied and then clear coated to make it resistant to water and scratching during car wash.

It took some time to research a potential supplier able to produce the following 4 stickers as water transfers:

    Image Unavailable, Please Login

The problem is the MOQ of 1'000 units - probably enough to reequip about half of the remaining Mondials with those rims...
The sticker price would be around USD 10.00 & shipping, which to me seems reasonable.
    Opinions?
