As I remember it's a system with five additional screws. Therefore you have to count with a little bit more weight. Workaround: I compensate the additional weight by refueling always a half liter less gasoline... ;-)
Perfect. Thats what I do all the time except I have it half full. Even lighter! LOL....and I don't take passengers.
Lower It yourself or shop ? Are you getting 11mm, or ......? From Ricambi ? Looking at his myself, so lots of questions........
WS025 - 25mm Spacers by: Hill Engineering - Hill Engineering Ferrari Has anyone tried this style (style2)? The spacer bolts onto the hub so you can use your existing lugs.
Hey Bert, noticed you're in Riverside close to me - we should meet up. I had Eugenio lower my car about a half inch....looks a lot better but not ricer slammed. I will likely order Hill Engineerimg through Ricambi and they have recommended either 11mm or 15mm. The other issue I have is that with grey Scud wheels on the 430 spider, I may have to order the expensive titanium bolts, as chrome bolts would look kind of off. Really wish I could use my current titanium bolts. This could be interesting - will look into this.
I am installing a set of bolt on 25mm this spring. Bit nervous since it looks like they will just fit by measurement but have not heard of anyone installing a spacer wider than 15mm.
Installed them today...25mm hubcentric. They are "perfect" for filling out the 360 rear end. Take a look. Now car needs a 1" drop. These modular wheels will be for sale in the next month...have a new set in the works. bumping an old thread.... GWARREND did you also install a front wheel spacer on your car as well? I am looking to see how wide of a front spacer the 360 will accommodate without any fender clearance issues.
In your opinions does this need rear spacers ? 25mm or otherwise Thanks Image Unavailable, Please Login
Your 18" challenge wheels are the same offset as the stock 18x10" wheel (ET39), with the exception that your wheels are 0.5" wider (1/4" wider on the inside and 1/4" wider on the outer face). with that being said, you are running the exact same set-up I plan on running on my BBS LM's and want to know what size tires you have on the front and rear and whether or not you are successful using spacers...if you decide to give it a try. but I would guess you could safely run at least 15mm spacers.
Yeah I was originally thinking 15mm but saw the above pics with 25mm's and that was why I was canvassing a response from our beloved community
Like your setup- I would like to keep the original wheels. If you don't mind giving the details and where I can buy them. Thanks. Nice Garage floor
while this thread is alive I have gone back to stock so have 8 X Hill Engineering 11mm spacers and their extended lug nuts in case anyone wants to make me an offer
got a 08 430 with scud wheels and lowered but needs spacers… looks like 15mm front and back but what's the advantage or disadvantage of type 1 vs 2 spacers ? i've always done type 2 on my other cars…. and why is there no 15mm for both type 1 and 2 ? shouldn't it be the same ?!?? j 08 f430 S line ext, scudding LEDs, F1 pump relay,
Image Unavailable, Please Login Hope this thread is still alive. I’ve put some oem 430 wheels on my 360 spider. I would need spacers because the offset of the wheels is bigger then 360 so the wheelbase is slimmer the. Original. Thinking of putting 25mm in rear and 15mm in front. Cars is also lowered with the original suspension, I think about 3cm.
guys, I want to get 15mm spacers and correct length bolts...help.... H&R sells 15mm but I don't know what bolts to get for it.... what length, if I'm adding a 15mm spacer.....wheels are oem Ferrari scud rims for 2008 f430/non scud... thanks, james R
