Thanks to all that replied to my other thread, it's good to be back! Can anyone identify the size of these wheels. I know they're about 18" but I believe they are metric. That being said, where do you buy Metric tires for this aftermarket early TR wheels as well as the stock single lug? Thanks, Image Unavailable, Please Login
Metric tires come directly or indirectly via sponsor Longstone - can you not tell us the size from the sidewall which for sure will confirm ?
I'd be super surprised if those are metric wheels - by the time that wheels had grown to such large diameters, the metric thing was dead. Couple of places for metric sized tires are Longstone Tyre and Coker Tire.
no size on the tires? you are sure? or only can not read them anymore because of the age? normaly on every tire there stand a size, even on the race tires

I know! Especially with no power steering, ABS, or airbags. The prior owner upgraded the brakes, that's why the 18" wheels are needed to clear the rotor. I must say that the braking is quite good with these Brembos.
Those are SAC wheels. 10 and 8 18 inch. Aluminum and very light weight. They were sold through Speedline USA and no longer made. I had them on my TR years ago.
I have a set that are ....well similar but no where near as nice. I pulled them off my car and replaced with originals that I prefer, especially since I had.....small brakes.......only my wife knows that!,, If someone is interested in a different style I can certainly send pictures. The ones I pulled off are pretty heavy though. Thanks Mark
I just read that the 87' (which I'm looking at two 87's) knockoffs switched to a normal 16 and are not the metric like 85'. Is that true? If I buy an 87' with stock wheels I can just buy the BF Goodrich G-Force from Tirerack??
