I have a new set of wheels coming for my 348, can anyone reccommend a shop to have the new tires and wheels balanced and mounted in the NW burbs? Wheels have polished lips naturally and need someone gentle. Lastly, I am also ordering a set of small spacers from Ricambi for the fronts but don't know if I'll need them or not. I'd like the shop to be able to check the allignment and such with the new set up to be sure everything is "straight".

Tires 'r' us did a fine job for me. IMHO there isn't much to putting rubber onto wheels and them onto the car. In that regard Ferraris are no different than any GM tincan.

Regarding the spacers: If you don't need them in the front, put them on in the back. It always looks neat if the rears stick out a bit. I did that to mine. Just don't use some oversize spacers because of the loads.

I guess I was concerned that the wheels would get scratched during install and not everyone knows how to carefully lift a Ferrari, or do they? I don't know where the safe jack points are so I'm not sure if they would. I called Ed's in Palatine and they don't have a machine to work on a modular wheel. Would Tires R us?

Sorry I meant "Just Tires". I nick named them "Tires'r'us". :)

Ferrari lift points aren't really a secret and somewhat obvious when you look under the car.

Just ordered new wheels for my car. Won't put them on this season though. Time to burn off the rubber on the current tires.
