Here's one! The original Koni shocks were completely restored to "as new" including the correct decals. Springs and half-shafts are the original color. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Holy crap...Pinewood...thats further north than Duluth.... What are you doing up there with a Pantera and a 360? Love your style! P.S. You didn't buy that black 99 F1 360 out of Duluth did you?
You might check with Samaritan Tire Company for your Ferrari...he's done those cars in the past. http://www.wheelsofitaly.com/wiki/index.php/Samaritan_Tire Ciao! Dan
Thanks for all the help and suggestions; we've found a photographer for the event. I'm surprised that more people don't know about our WOI Encyclopedia Italia. There in info on over 700 marques about cars, motorcycles and bikes. It's constantly being worked on and added to daily. Check it out... LOL! Pinewood is really in the sticks! No, I bought a 99 Modena gate shift out of Tucson. I actually saw the black 99 last year, if it's the one your referring to. It was a little rough. It was sitting at a little farm house/body shop just off high-way 2 and 194. About 3 miles past the little Saginaw junction gas station. I stopped in as I had my 348ts at the time and was so excited to see another Ferrari. I believe the car carries a salvage title, or I think that's what they told me that day. At the time the interior was somewhat taken apart and there was a battery sitting on the passenger seat. I really don't know much about it though. I believe the owner also has/had a Gallardo. I will be at the Wheels of Italy show, just look for the red Ferrari.....
LMAO! Mated to a beautiful stainless steel exhaust system also ceramic coated satin black (similar to original color). Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes it does. It was bought and rebuilt (mostly locally IIRC) by a local chiroprac and then he sold it to a "business" partner who ran a little side of the road dealership/tune/wheel/fart can shop in Duluth. Furthermore, the guy as of last year did have a Gallardo, with pretty much the same history (I was told..salvage). The chiroprac does have a passion for cars and I don't fault him... it's just interesting that he seems to gravitate towards these "story" cars. FWIW
Does anyone know if there are going to be any 348 spyders there on sunday, I know there have been some at past shows. I have always liked them and hope to have one of my own in a couple of years. I am returning home on sunday morning from Florida after attending my Dad's funeral and will be going right to the show from the airport. I love all Ferraris, they are way more than just a automobile to me and while I have the oppertunity I would like to get a closer look at a 348 spyder.
I'm very sorry for your loss, I lost my father this year as well. I expect there will be several 348s at WOI, probably more than one Spider.
#4109 went home today. It will be one of the featured attractions on Sunday. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
