Okay fantastic thank you. Any idea of cost? Can be done by any wheel place or need to go to a special place?

I'm in Los Angeles, I'm sure there are tons of places here. The car is out of state, but I'm looking at it to buy and bring in.

Yep I intend on doing that too but wanted to know if this was repairable before I pay for a PPI. FYI I spoke with the Ferrari dealership in Chicago earlier this week because I was looking at a car near there, and was told by the service department that they, and most dealerships in the country, have stopped doing PPI’s on cars. He said there were some lawsuits brought after and so they just decided to stop because it wasn’t worth the liability. Are you all finding that dealerships are still doing them?

    That is a correct statement

I would post in the region that the car is in and ask for some recommendations...a good Indy is as good or even better than a dealer.

I made that mistake once ..too high level

That's hilarious, the car's in Central Jersey, and I just saw another post from you about a couple places there. Was looking at J. Scuderia but haven't called yet. The car is near Tom's River. I looked at their website and it said a PPI with a compression test was like $800 and that seemed really steep. My guy in LA is highly, highly thought of and they charge $600. Any other shops nearby that you recommend since you live around there?
