Remember when Honda came out with a new breed of cars in late 80's (1988 to be exact) that really showed them to be at the pinnacle of their maturity as a company? The design, quality and overall dollar value all seemed to gel at once. Their cars got progressively better from 1975 up to this point and then flatlined and possibly regressed from the mid 90's onward. You can't help but see a similarity with Hyundai right now. I think this company is in the midst of its maturity as witnessed by it's roll out of cars in the last year. Their design is arguable the best. Dollar value for what you get is the best. Their cars are green and I bet that the quality and longevity of their most recent models are going to be stellar. They are the new Honda of the late 80's...

    What do you guys think?

i've always considered things (all things) to be cyclical, so it's fair to agree with you assessment....hyundai has come quite a ways, and i agree that honda is a shadow of it's former self
