    Agreed. I am pretty cheap when it comes to parts and I will always try to find a knock-off or cheap workable replacement...except when it comes to critical engine/safety components. No way am I putting in a cheap water pump or even oil filter.

    However, I would feel like an idiot if I put in a $1200 trunk release.
