Tough crowd! I quite like it, apart from some details. Jaguar should have built the original F-type... Best, Jack.
it's a dutch company, or upstart, and these are - for several years now - digital renderings ONLY, no car has been built, no prototype built, nothing, just these images they named it the "growler" LOL IMO it's to derived of the original, and a tad gaudy, the eagle roadster or eagle low drag coupe are way better & operational cars from a proven builder The Eagle E-Type Low Drag GT
Very lovely car. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/british/357360-ever-see-growler-e.html?highlight=growler
The F-Type concept and the XK-180 were awesome. This car is pretty cool as well, some things I don't love, but still cool looking.
below just recently unveiled is the new Ftype production coupe. Gary Espada 8394 EtypeFHC 887465 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice looking, from what can be seen......need to see more views. IMHO, dangerous to get too close to 'redesigning' the E-Type; it's a classic design, never to be improved on. Move on, with a new design; incorporate some E cues if you want, do not try to 'improve' on it. Eagle has gone as far as possible to 'improve' the E, should know where to stop. Also IMHO, the growler should never go beyond those renderings........a fat puppy of a design.
I have to admit the F Type is fun to drive & has a great growl Still want an E though The F is better looking than the Cali but it's no E type in looks
I think that's a beautiful design. Nothing can top the E-Type in looks, save a 500 Superfast or GTO IMHO.
IMO the GTO has many flaws, but it was meant to race. The windshield is almost vertical, Bizzarrini fixed this on the A3C
The original F-Type was a stunner. No clue why they didn't pull the trigger on it -- Tata must have acquired the rights to it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am with Michael on this one. I think it is a beautiful design and would be a hit. True a couple baubles could be left off but the lines are great. CC
The F-Type is similar, except for the addition of the 'corporate face', tying it to the other vehicles in the Jaguar line. Styling decisions take in more factors than the attractiveness of the design. I'm sure marketing and other areas got into the act. When I first saw the F-type at the Detroit Show I was underwhelmed, mostly because of the front end. I'm used to it now
