Why would sacking Domenicali improve Ferrari's form?

He is sporting manager. Surely the problem is with the technical team.

Your bias may be showing in your poll choices...

4 options are for before next season
    1 option for early season
    or never.

No vote from me with those options.

    Silly thread.

You're right. I assume he won't last another season. That seems too far fetched to bother asking.

I'd be shocked if he was gone before summer break 2014.

Completely new car designed to new rules well into design / production at this point...

To shake things up now makes no sense. Would be counterproductive.

Ferrari's bed is made for 2014...

That said... if the 2014 car is a dog... he'll be gone late 2014. If it's good... he'll stick around.

I think if they could fire Piero he would be gone.

I think Domenicali has pettered out...they need to get Ross Brawn back... not sure who else they could have in the position.

If Ferrari had rory Byrne back or had Newey we'd be hailing stefano.

Ldm needs to show himself to the door. The problem is that a clown hack lawyer like ldm can't operation a doorknob

That certainly explains the success of the Ferrari company under his leadership.

While I hope he fires him tomorrow realistically I don't see that happen anytime soon. Maybe in a year or two.

Domenicali has made unforgivable mistakes and horrible decisions for years and they didn't get him fired. This year is no different.

There needs to be another option on the poll, "Too late", because that's the answer :(.

Mulehead seems to think Gianni Agnelli was running the company and the racing team in the late 90's and 2000's.

As far as Domenicali, I suspect he's going to be around for another season. It would be nice if Ferrari management started searching for his replacement though.

I think Dominicali should be fired for using the word "honestly" and the term "to be honest" too many times in each interview.

    Never. He will quit first.

He has some pictures of Luca and a sheep, and that gives him job security.

I'm hearing tidbits about that too but has he been out of the game too long, assuming the rumors are true? I for one have stopped watching since India. I will DVR the remaining races but won't watch lest some crazy things happen. The "Kimi not getting paid" story is more interesting than the races.....

I think rory has indeed focussed on the 2014 car since february. Having James Allison there definitely helps too.

I'm glad I'm not the only one catching on to that odd view of the world.

Agnelli was long retired and halfway senile in the nineties. Had zero to do with the remarkable turnaround of the Ferrari road cars and racing team. All the credit goes to LdM.
