Just two weeks after doing the timing belt service and having the 355 in perfect mechanical condition the throwout bearing goes.... well at least I now know my baby will have a fresh clutch. Nothing like a 13,000 summer :-\ smh it's all worth it though because this is the most fun I've ever had with a car

Well, at least the clutch is at the other end of the engine and you don't need to take the engine/transmission out again!!

I hope your clutch was worn out and needing replacement. If not, I personally would have just replaced the throw out bearing. In a "normal" car if the throw out bearing goes, you have to at least drop the transmission, and all that entails, for multi hundreds of dollars if it's being done at a garage. But, on a "normal" car, a clutch costs about $150.00, so as long as the tranny is out it makes perfect sense to throw a new clutch in too. The 348/355 is the opposite : super easy clutch and bearing access, and very pricey clutch parts. In that case if the clutch looks half decent, I would tend to let it be for the time being.
