I am interested in when traction control was introduced into the 456, especially the GT?

Basically, I was under the impression that ASR (Ferrari's term for traction control?) was introduced when the 456M went into production (1999?). Did pre-456M cars get traction control?

I've seen one ebay auction and two web sites that claim a pre-M car has ASR... but it is the internet and there are a lot of less than knowledgable people out there.

Can FC help clear up this issue?

    Thanks in advance,
    Dave Quick

p.s. I just got the check from the buyer for my 328 and I'll be sending the car to them the day the money clears. :) :) My wife only will allow a 456 if it's got traction control... so I want to know the answer to this question. :)

Per Forza #53 (456 Buyer's Guide), ASR was introduced on the 456M. However, pre-M's came with limited slip differentials.
