Carrier picked it up from the East Coast on Friday or Saturday. I'm in Phoenix AZ. When can I expect delivery?

Congrats on the 355 Jonathan! I think it depends on which shipper you used. I've only shipped one car in many years, but these days I would think they all carry cell phones and GPS, and their "office" could contact them for an update if you called. Or maybe they'd even give you the driver's cell no. so you can call directly.

However, some shippers' prices may be based on being able to get a pretty full truck before starting on their trip, so some may take a week or two to get more vehicles before actually starting a trip. If they're reputable, they should tell you if that's what they plan to do, though. Did you ask them what their plan and schedule was when you contracted with them?

I just bought my 355 last month from NJ and I live in WA- I got an estimated time of arrival the day I booked the pick-up. but its totally dependant upon the truckers run. chances are your car is not his only item onboard- he may be zig-zagging all over the place before making it down to AZ. but I would call the shipping company.. they should tell you when its arriving. My shipping company actually gave me the drivers cell phone number- I never had to use it but it was nice to have. my car actually came a day early from their ETA.
good luck with your new car- its worth the wait

Just got an update for an arrival date of 6/28. I've never driven a 355 let alone any ferrari in my life. What might I expect come the big day?

Don't force your shifter into second gear until the gearbox gets warmed up, some will go into second when cold but many need a few minutes of driving before they slide in like butta.

    1. watch the front end when pulling out of drive ways... go very slow. it will scrape on the way out even if it didnt on the way in.

    2. always warm your car up.

    3. learn how to check your oil.

    4. get used to downshifting for overpasses and tunnels... the sound is incredible...

    5. enjoy in good health
