    I have a 5 series as a daily driver with the inline 6-cylinder, but when I just drove the E350 their V6 sounded strained and seemed to have no guts. Otherwise I love the car, its a step up for Benz, but the 6 cylinder ruins it for me. V8 or walk.

    OK, I'll make sure to drive both. In all honesty, I'm buying it for a beater car and performance isn't that important; however, 4 wheel drive is a must. If the v6 is really that daft, I'll probably move on to something else.

    Test drove the 350. Power was sufficient. Ordered it. Be here in 8 weeks.

    You won't tear any doors off but the power will get you there.

    I currently have a 2008 350 and the power is more than enough for normal driving. Enjoy the car it has been one of the best cars I have owned so far.

    I really want one of these and for that matter need something awd if this winter is anything like the last....my current car is a beatup fwd with bad tires...keep telling myself its temporary but I still haven't replaced the POS
