I have heard that up to 15 250 GTOs are going to run at once. Does anybody know if they will run as part of the:

    1. 12:30PM-12:40PM Ferrari Demonstration Laps

    2. 2:25PM-2:40PM Special Exhibition Laps,

Or will they run in this group?

    3. 3:15PM Race 5A (10 Laps) Group 5A 1957-1962 Sports Racing Cars over 2500cc

Plus, how good are they about sticking to the schedule or do they tend to run behind?

    Thx, Dale

Why did you overlook the 4:15 Ferrari race for GTOs and Comp/61s...?

Oh, ah, well, they say that eyesight is the second thing to go. I can't remember what the first thing was.

    Thx, Dale

ps: How long do you think it would take to get from PB to LS at, say, 2:00 pm on Sunday?

That was a funny answer. BTW will you be at LG on Sat? Or for the FCA events? I'll be there at the FOLI transporter with a little red car if you want to take a look.

With some discussion regarding GTOs, I thought I would share this little nugget rediscovered in my archives last weekend. Any idea where the car is presently located? Not sure how legible the text is...apologies in advance.

    I just checked in today.

Steve and Debbie told me that they have 23 cars signed up.

I will be racing the Blue and Yellow Ex-Scuderissima Serrenisima 250 GTO that I have been running all year.

All are welcome to come by and say hi (and make donations for gas and tires if the spirit moves you.)

    Cheers,

    Bill Noon

A few links below the link to the schedule is a link to a PDF with pics of all the participating cars. There are 13 GTO's and 3 GT SWB's pictured... all in group 7A... Saturday at 4:15. They are on pages 13 and 14 of the PDF.

Yes, "Monday" is a funny answer.
    Anyone have a real answer?
Is there a shuttle running from PB to LS on Sunday?
I plan to shuttle to/from PB via the shuttle from the FCA Hotel.

Actually, the race I'd most want to see Sunday is the 1:00 race.

Which Ferrari F1 cars will be running at 2:00?

Wayne, you're right that the car in the newspaper is Kroymans' 4757 GT. And if rumours are right, this car will ALSO be at Laguna Seca! Together with his modern Ferrari F1 (2001 or so). We will see next week ;)

Grtx, Edvar (leaving on Monday ;) ;))

;) I just don't want anyone to be disappointed if the two cars don't show up at Monterey. Simply because it will be a BIG disappointment if there are only 17 250 GTOs instead of 18 ......... ;) ;) ;)
