    You just did: The loads are much greater for cars, and motorcycles hitting potholes have much more urgent issues than wheel integrity/longevity.

    are we seriously still going on about the 'heavier load' and 'hazard/abuse' idea??? erm,,,heavier loads on four wheel vehicles, that's not the big issue with CF wheels, or any CF composite product that has to endure 'punishment'...there are plenty of CF/composite items out there that have to survive constant 'severe' loads--in 'hostile' environments, yet hold up extremely well. if we want to get all ramped up on the whole fear phenomena, the threads regarding CF use in commercial planes, are full of useful info as well as ridiculous misinformation.
