    A question to all of you. I walked into a ferrari store in europe last month, and the clerk told me that if I was a Ferrari owner I was entitled to some discount. I told him I was, and he asked me to show him the owners card, card which I was not given, and that I have never heard of.

    I wanted to ask you all, besides the car's replica, what else is given to you when you buy and/or recieve your cars?

    It depends......... you certainly don't get anything specific (apart from the car itself!) like an owner's card which you can use for discount. Of course there is also documentation with your name on so it's not hard to rpove you own one if required. You always get gifts of some sort: cufflinks, models, key rings or whatever. If you collect from the factory there are a few extras including photo's in a leather book etc - which of course, costs..... That is all on top of the "delivery charge" which you still pay even though you've paid extra to collect! So the best place to get get discount is at the dealership through which you bought the car - even then it's at their discretion.

    When I took delivery of my 430 I was given a leather book of the cars production through the factory which was a great suprise. This was my third Ferrari but my first new one. I was hoping this was the norm and would receive the same for my 458.

    I suspect this refers to local Owners Club eg FCA / FOC rather than something from the dealer
