anyone know?
Guess I remembered correctly - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Top_Gear_episodes#Series_Fourteen
Can only imagine what it's going to do to the file size! I have all the episodes in my "collection" but storing/downloading HD episodes is going to be a hassle. Jury is still out ....
I don't mind HD resolution, but I never missed it. Top Gear is nothing short of legendary, and I don't think any other auto show can ever follow. Can't wait: It's like a movie premier on the cinema, only on TV. "Hello ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the 14th season of Top Gear!"
Yup!!! I've VERY excited also, and I do believe that they drive the Fezza California, Aston DBS and the Lambo LP560-4 convertable on a road trip.... Not completely sure if it's the first episode but I know that happens. OH and they drive a Renault Twingo into the sea lmao.
Nice episode... and the Ferrari California certainly looked the best car out of the three. I would have liked to have seen James' incident captured more clearly on screen; I wonder if they're not showing it on air due to it being considered evidence? All the best, Andrew.
I loved it, I couldn't believe how good it looked in HD, its like a whole new Top Gear. I also found it funny they referenced the US being the only country not to get TG, as I sit watching it 4 hours after it originally aired, you have to love the internet.
Doesn't all of those three cars have bulletcams on them?? Should explain what happend. One in the car and one outside filming the road ahead.
No but I don't think they cared very much and if you did take it to court you wouldn't get much from the other guy.
The driver of the car cames crashed into (or vice versa) must have had the shock of his life. Imagine you're driving there along the road you've driven ten thousand times before, not caring about traffic because there hadn't been any traffic yesterday or any day you can think of, and suddenly there's a freaking Lamborghini in your way...
I think the accident was probably staged... it was a long and very open stretch of road. How on earth could they have collided like that? Plus it was obviously a very slow speed crash, yet pretty much head on (or corner on). I can't really conceive of an accident like that happening on a road like that. I'm not sure about Romania but many of these poorer countries don't require insurance, and if you have an accident, it's on you. I'm very sure there won't be any sort of court case forthcoming, and it would be unconscionable to put the local guy through the wringer (even if it was his fault) when he doesn't look like he even has $50 let alone thousands to repair a brand new LP560, especially considering they were probably loaner cars and covered by various insurance policies anyway. I think it was just TV drama.
Both accidents are staged...As is everything else. They didnt sleep in the cars, they didnt park by a dam...
