Hi, if all goes well, my new 348 will be delivered tomorrow, so I'll finally get a chance to start my to-do list.

One of the first will be to run those seatbelt mice to their "in-use" position and pull the plug. Someone said the best way to do this (the way that won't light up the warning lights) is to pull the connectors off of the seatbelt ECUs.

Can anyone tell me where these ECUs are? How I can get to them? And maybe what they look like so I don't disconnect the wrong thing? I thought someone said they're behind the radio..... if so, do I need to pull the radio out -or- could I get to them from the foot wells? Is there a diagram anywhere in the service manual (I just downloaded it)

Thanks!! I'll take some pictures of the car being delivered and post. Maybe right next to it's new brother the Esprit ;)

Congratulation on your new car mate, please post the pics !
You can access the seat belt's ECU from the passenger side, between the passenger footrest and the front panel temperature control, behind the radio. 5 or 6 screws total and the panel is out. As far as me, I simply unplugged the 2 wire connector under the driver and passenger seats. That was it.

Your under-seat method certainly sounds easier.
Are your seatbelt warning lights lit when you drive?

No, when I unplugged the connectors under the seats, the ECU think the seat beats are buckeld up.
