You know I want one - sign me up please.
Birdman, I would also like to order one, and also your fuseblocks...but I tried paypal..and as I later read, theres a glitch in the system...how can I send payment?
NOOOO, the bottom will drop out of the market before mine sells.... OK if you get them in a different color I'll take a couple more!
That's true, if we print more, the initial run of 30 will not be as limited anymore. But then again, I doubt a few more will hurt their "value" much! As for fuseblocks....as my website says, I'm on vacation this month with the family in Maine. My wife is on maternity leave and we are taking this rare opportunity to enjoy our house in Maine for an extended period. I will not be shipping any more fuseblocks until September. JDubbya, You aren't really going to sell your shirt on eBay are you?? Birdman
Jonathan, That's FANTASTIC!!! Contratulations. What a great way to end the Summer too. You'll have to post pics when the baby arrives.
Thanks David! The baby arrived 3 weeks ago. His name is Liam. (Wife wouldn't go for Enzo or Jacques, as in Cousteau!) I'll tell you what, boys are much easier than girls! My daughter was so much more work than this little guy! But he still cuts into our sleep time as you can imagine. If we can't sleep, might as well do it in coastal Maine where it's cool and beautiful! Birdman
Remember the 10lb rule. They "CAN" sleep though the night after 10lbs. You just have to make them do it. And that ain't easy. I remember my wife and I felt like such S**t's for two nights in a row, until our son finally got the messgage, "You can go back to sleep, 'cause we ain't gettin' up". We both nearly cried though it, but it was wroth it. Well worth it! Hopefully having one, you probably knew that already. We have friends that always wondered why we had such a nice baby. By contrast, their baby girl (born 6-months from ours) was jumping up and down in the crib and screaming at the top of her lungs every night from 2am-5am, until she was 4 or 5 years old! ...and that difference shows when they're an adult too! Best wishes to you and your wife! And just my 2-cents....
Congratulations on the new baby! And enjoy the vacation. I spent a couple of summers with my folks (many years ago) on the Maine coast. It really is one of the most beautiful places in the country.
Birdy, More shirts??? Just like Ferrari...they say they are going to make a lmited number of 288 GTO's, and then there is more demand and they make more. Good thing I didn't buy a GTO. I'd hate to be stuck with one of those lemons. As for the fuse blocks...I'm gonna dyno the car before and after to make sure I get the promised HP increase. I guess I'm going to have to make the runs while the window is going up or down. Shouldn't be a problem because I figure I can go through all the gears before a window goes through its full travel. For the HP increase with the shirt do I need to be wearing it, or does it just need to be near the car? I'll even have the dyno operator wear it to see if that makes a diff. Seriously though, congratulations on the new arrival and enjoy your vacation. Our boy turns 1 tomorrow and we're working on a sibling. Let me know if you ever make it out to the west coast, it would be nice to hook up with you. Henry
David, I'll tell you what, we found that the magic trick to getting our daughter to sleep through the night was deciding that she was old enough to sleep on her stomach. She just wouldn't sleep well on her back. Of course the other trick is a major swaddle job. A few years ago, one of my best friends had twins. They were at the end of their rope and decided to hire a nurse/nanny for a couple nights so they could get some sleep. Wouldn't you know it, both of the kids slept through the night. My buddy asked the nurse what the heck she did and she said the secret was a tight swaddle. Anyway, that is good advice for little babies...at 3 weeks old our son will sleep 4-5 hours straight, which isn't bad at all. I'm the swaddlemaster. I have never actually heard the 10 pound rule. Gotta ask the wife if she ever heard of that. Henry, Ever notice how little kids take a bite out of the Ferrari time? BTW, the person driving the car on the dyno must be wearing the shirt to gain the HP. Just having it on the seat isn't going to cut it. And if your windows are like mine, you can't actually get the window up while going through the gears because you need a hand to help the window and that leaves no hand for the steering wheel....unless you are on the dyno and you can go hands free....or steer with your knee. VERY complicated! Birdman
