Where can I buy a F430 Spider 1:18 model in red? I'm having a hard time finding one online. It appears Hotwheels Elite makes one. But where to buy?

That looks like a really nice. However, I live in the US and would rather buy in dollars from a US company since I don't read Italian and am nervous of buying things outside the country.

This company also has an English branch, and their prices are very reasonable.

    Hi
First the company is German... as per Italian your right never buy from Italian vendors from eBay (I'm 25% Italian and 75% Canadian). They are the worst vendors (eBay statics prove this). For the vendor that I have suggested, he's is very serious and I have bought from him many times, great packaging and very fast shipping and remember the German vendors on eBay are valuable e reliable. (plus in this moment it is good to buy with US dollars). Hope this helps.
    all the best
    Tommaso

I cannot read any words on that link. they come up as italian or something. Is there an english link? How much is this thing in US dollars? is there some shipping cost that is more than the item since it is coming from a far away land to the US? Do I have to pay some ridiculous 21% VAT or insane sales tax? Is AMEX going to charge me some international 3% transaction fee? I only ask as I really am not familiar with purchases from overseas companies.

If you really want a good model of the 430, then take your time and find the 1:18 BBR model (it is actually Kyosho, but that is another story).
If it is too much for your liking, then try to find an Elite model. The one in the link is a Foundation one and not worth the 70odd dollars, without even taking the shipping into consideration.
Finding a red Spider could be hard, but they are out there and with little pacience you can get one on US soil.

I just want to add that when buying from Europe, Asia or wherever, you don't have to pay their taxes. VAT is one such tax. This is same way as you don't get charged tax when ordering something online from another state. To answer the other concern that was expressed, I have received many models from various parts of the world and never was charged a penny by customs or anyone. The packages were always delivered to my door.

So I supposedly bought one from Exoticar Model Company. Then 3 weeks later they emailed me and said they only had black, even though order said red and showed red. They didn't even have black as a choice when I bought. So they refunded my money and I have no red F430 spider. I'm unhappy.

Kyosho Ferraris are really good as an alternative to hotwheels if you know what you are looking for.

Again I don't read Italian and the link is 100 percent Italian language. I really just want to buy from a US vendor and not deal with international shipping, language barriers and international surcharges on my credit card.

But for some reason I cannot find a US vendor that has it. Hot wheels doesn't sell directly. Very stupid. Hot wheels' lists vendors who allegedly carry it and none actually do so.

A simple search on Ebay would have given you the exact same listing as above but in English from the UK arm of that same German company.
This model is now some years old and getting hard to find - no retailer is likely to have it any longer.
