I found the selection and prices better at Wine Country Motorsports in Jupiter better than Auto Craze in Miami,

Wine Country is awesome, I buy all of my stuff from them. Might not be the absolute lowest prices but their service more than makes up for it. I've ordered restraints from them that needed to have the sliders reversed for my type of race car, they did it before shipping them (not an easy job), they installed the hans anchors on my helmet before shipping it, I bought an Alpinestars suit recently that was a size too small (they run small compared to Sparco) so they shipped the new one to me at Sebring where they have a new store at the track and the guys at the track came to the pits and found me to swap the new suit with the one that didn't fit.

We have always had good results with Wine Country Motorsports in Jupiter. It is good to actually go to the business and try the helmet or suit on yourself to see you are happy with the fit. They are usually at FCA track events if you need anything more at the track.

    Thanks for the feedback.
I've always stayed away from shopping in downtown Miami, mainly because it's a tourist trap. And although Wine Country is a bit far from my place, it's worth the drive.

KarCraze is not that tourist trap. Of course they are slightly higher in prince because they are in downtown. Then, by the time you add the gas to Jupiter and back, toll etc you may nt have saved anything. However, Wine Country is a great store and I would support them as well just for the fact they do come out to races with their trailer. A service that is needed and appreciated by racers.

That also said, there is some great websites that give you the measurements. It goes through everything. Unless you have a complete unusual built (long arms, long legs, long upper torso etc) then you should be fine with one off the rack. You may want to get a size bigger than what is suggested.

I had a suit once made for my by a company over the internet. They even sent me a test suit first made to my cut.
My current suit I bought off the rack and am super happy with it. One thing I learned, and here it depends on how often you will actually use it, don't go cheap. I bought an OMP top of the line suit with breathable materials and sweat layers and the whole nine yards. Super happy with it but those will set you back $1500+. Then, until recently I was wearing the suit every other weekend for two days straight. It is kind of like a good pair of shoes. You learn to appreciate them when you walk in them for days and your feet don't hurt. All of a sudden $500 appears to be a bargain.
