I have split my front lower spolier/bumber grounding the car getting it off a ferry and so am having it repaired and re-painted.
I thought that now would be a good time to fit the after market front lip spoiler to give the car a bit more down force, but cannot source one.

If you want to see what one looks like take a look at the picture of Dales car in the UK for sale section. I have also seen this front lip spoiler on another car it carbon fibre.

Does anyone know where I can buy it?

    I bought this part
    http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partsListing.asp?M=1&Mo=377&A=2&B=20092&S=&ID4=875709
thinking it was the part I was after, but it is not. This part is designed to be fitted under the vehicle and if flat, not curved. Also the part I was sent is 2 1/2 inches short of the width of my car, so it is useless.

Here in the US, I'd recommend the item from Valence USA:

If for any reason they can't ship internationally, let me know and I'd be happy to be your freight forwarder.

$ 600.00 for something that can be ruined at the first corner ?
    Wow....

My front spoiler lip was missing several pieces due to scratching the tarmac under certain circumstances.

I've cut a few old VHS cases in pieces und screwed the piece on the open spots on the lip ;-)

Man, the lip is a pain in the ***, I hit it every day a few times and I am always careful.

Our front spoiler lips - either carbon/kevlar or fiberglass, are a lot tougher than the stock fiberglass lips, which are probably pretty hard to find now anyway. They do help keep the bottom of the spoiler from getting damaged, and are a lot easier to take off and fix if the need arises.

The quality of work that Chris at Valence does is awesome!
I Have a carbon fiber center consul single piece which eveyone loves.
My friend actually ordered the carbon fiber lip and it looked awesome.
You would be in very good hands with them.

You can probably source the part from Ferrari. Try calling the dealer and asking for the SS lip spoiler.

part number 63547100. It's about $300, but expensive to ship because it's "oversize".

Now, if you want my 2-cents, I'd go with the Valence USA item in a heartbeat over the OEM. I think it's much cooler and we'd be supporting a local small biz/Fchat sponsor.

I'll tell you how nice the Valence USA part is... I happily paid $7,000 for mine.

$600 for the part, and when I received it in the mail it was so pretty I decided to re-pour my driveway for fear of damaging it ($6,400).

In the meantime I have it proudly on display in my garage until the work is finished this summer- ha

Seriously it's a really cool piece.

My spoiler is scraped and scratched from abuse. I thought I would sand and paint it. Is there a special paint I should use, its mat black.
