    Looking for a cabin within say 45 minutes of Asheville, Boone, Or Blowing Rock. Now... that part is simple - there are plenty around.

    Here are the requirements making things difficult:

    One night stay only - checking in on a Saturday & leaving on Sunday (eliminates most places I've seen).

    Within 1/2 hour of interesting daytime/night activities & good dining.

    Must have hot tub or the like suitable for 2.

    Room/cabin must be under $250.

    Need for middle of April.

    Any ideas??? We've looked at TONS that were awesome, but every one either required at least 2 night stay, or did not allow Saturday check in.

    I've had good luck with Jenkins Rentals. They have a pretty good web site with details/availability/photos of cabins in the Blowing Rock area.

    Maybe you can find what you're looking for there.

    Thanks Brian. Their places look excellent, but appear to have a 2 night minimum like most others. :(

    David. Have you checked with Wolf Laurel Realty. Ask for Dina Carver. We used to own a cabin in Wolf Laurel. Have rented there too but never for one night.

    Thanks for the help guys. Luckily, the wife found something that should be pretty close to ideal & even well under budget! :)
