You really can't beat it! Around $12-15 for a 1:18 scale case. The other options are great as well. I have a 1:12 display with the Carbon Fiber Look Base that is really nice. I also have a 1:18 display with a nice wood base that I use to hold my nice AUTOart cars on display where I have stuff on consignment. The only ones they have that are a little pricey are the 4 car displays that are pretty much the same as all the others you see that hold 8 or 10 cars for not much more. I can get a 12 pack case of the 1:18 single car display cases for a better price.

My personal opinion though is this - "Either buy or build your own wall unit to display as many cars as you can afford to buy". Now if I could just get my head out of my @ss and build mine!

In my area I have them custommade by a shop.
I make my own bases (wood, glass kevlar etc...and order the hood).
There must be businesses around, to form and cut plexi in every imaginable size. This way you can make your own. A hood for a 1/12 costs me around $70,- and it beats every factorymade one. (try google with dustcover)
The shop I order them makes them mainly for modelships.

$7.99 per double side-by-side clear rack at The Container Store. Their double shoe racks have worked wonders for my son's collection of 1:18 scale cars.
