Dunno. The strap material is kind of a weird color...I wonder if it was a home made deal? Some nice polished stainless straps around the leather would look good.
Check out www.aircraftspruce.com They have alot of stuff there I've used in race cars. They may have some buckles like those that could be attached to some stainless strapping.
