Where do I connect wires for a radiator fan override switch? Is there a closer spot than the thermo switch up front? Thought I would put one in while I trouble shoot my fans problem.

Locate the radiator temperature switch at the rear of the radiator. There are two terminals on the face of this switch. It is normally open so if you pull the two terminal spade connectors off and jump them together the fans will run continuously. Or you could wire those ends to a simple spst switch to turn them on and off at will.

when i bought my car someone had jumped the wires and the fans ran constantly - don't do that. the radiator switch is easy to replace and cheap. if you want an override switch run wires under the dash and put a switch in parallel to the one in the radiator. i did that but have never had to use the manual switch jon s
