As I have previously posted, I was hit from behind last year. Unfortunately the repair of my rear bumper is not going so well. So I need a new one. So far I have not been able to locate one. I need a stainless steel one. As I understand there was a choice of stainless steel and chrome, I have seen both.

I have been in contact with groupharrington, who produces replica bumpers. As of now they do not have the QP-1 in their offer. They could start making bumpers for my car but then they need my originals, and they want to keep them.
I'm a bit reluctant to give up my original, perfect condition front bumper. But on the other hand I might not have a choice in order to get a new rear bumper.
    Any suggestions?

I have Alfa bumpers in worse conditiion than that repaired by my local plating shop. I also had them repair my QP1 bumper as it suffered from very poor previous repairs (it was streached and cracked)

I suggest that you find a good plating shop first of all, they can polish out as well.

    Hey,
Am facing a similar problem as someone bumped into my Indy last weekend.
Was the first time i ever drove it, nicely restored and then some lady with her Golf hits me at the light. You can imagine how that felt.

Now the bumper is pretty much gone and some bodywork is needed.
Any help for a good place is appreciated.

Good luck with the QP bumper
Am sure you felt just as gutted when you got hit

Oww, that hit looks bad. I can't be of help but I hope you find a way to make it all right again.

    Hi everyone!
My name is Marco and this is my first post!
Last week I found two Maserati: a 1971 Indy and a QP I (II series).
Both need to be restored very deep but they are all complete and engines after 30 years that has been sat down run very very well.
I've to think about restoration works so I can't promise you nothing but if i decide to sell the car or spare parts I'll tell you.

    Yours sincerely

    Marco

Sorry to hear that. I know exactly how you feel. I cannot remember the last time i was that angry, if ever. Good for you, replacement bumpers are made.

I recently bought a set for my alfa giulia spider, and the quality is good and the price ok.
