I've had Escort or beltronics Radar/Laser Jammer systems in every sports car I've ever had, many I installed myself. (For those out of the US, I know they are illegal in other countries but legal in all but 1 state in the US)

My ferrari came with it already installed.

I'm getting a front sensor error (for the radar unit). Thing is for the life of me, I can't actually FIND the front radar unit. The error came up while idling in my driveway, so I know I didn't lose the unit on the highway (That happened to me in the 90s on my 3000gt!)

In most cars there is a fairly standard placements for these things. Does anyone have any guess where they are commonly stashed on these cars? The only thing I can think of now is possible actually under the bumper cover? But that seems impractical and I wanted to avoid that unless I checked all other options...

    Thanks for you thoughts!

Mine were in behind the front grills and pretty easy to spot.

Common to remove the bumper cover and install it there

When I was younger, I didn't need detectors or jammers... when I detected I was being chased, I jammed my right foot down. I don't see that working these days driving a bright red Ferrari with all the traffic cameras.

Thats where the laser shifters are, but not the radar unit unfortunately :(

Thats what I'm suspecting, although I didn't think that was commonplace because you didn't want to block the unit... I thought you were supposed to place it behind grilles. I guess I'll disable it until I can get the bumper cover off.

Ha yeah... Mines yellow, in a city where there MIGHT be ONE other yellow ferrari... not any better ;) and to make matters worse, Ferraris may be faster than police chasers (although my old 360 maybe not...) but they sure as heck aren't faster than helicopters and radios :(

Thanks for the thoughts! I was hoping that wasn't the case.
