Any sugggestions on restaurants inside of Rt 495 where folks feel comfortable parking their F-cars? I could only think of Capital Grille in Chestnut Hill (valet let's you park in front and they are always around to keep an eye on it), but I've been there too many times. Anyone have other suggestions? Thanks!

There are a few places in the North End as i recall. On Newberry Street in Boston is that fancy place (forget the name) with men's cloths, kitch, and a small restaurant. Frankly, i just park the car in one of the better underground garages when in Boston, put on the car cover, and walk away without a worry.

I'm with Steve - I just park in a garage. There's nice underground garage just off Tremont St in the south end - just on the left off clarendon st IIRC. You can then go to one of the very many great restaurants in the south end.

Personally I just park my car and don't worry about it wherever. If it gets dinged, then it needs to be fixed. With a recent f-car, you are going to scratch the front bumper anyway at somepoint. Every 355, 360 that is sold by a main dealer will have some paint prior to sale.

Well, that's an easy attitude to have when you are driving a lowly 360 CS! ;) Some of us are driving truly rare, collectible classics and we worry about them. ;) heh heh...just messing with ya.

I will park the 308 anywhere that I can see it out the window of the restaurant. Heck, I'll go to the 99's in it, as long as I can get a seat where I can keep an eye on it. Honestly, the thing I'm worried about most is vandalism. There are a lot of jerks in this world. I have a friend who has had her BMW keyed 3 times in parking lots.

I tend to me a little less careful with the Mondial. It doesn't attract much attention.

Thanks for some replies. Birdman, I agree with you that the biggest worry is vandalism. Tonight we're getting a babysitter and heading to Woodman's in Essex, MA for some fried clams. I expect to see the car outside, and welcome anyone else who is up for dinner. Hope to be there around 6:30pm.

I have been to Woodman's and you can very easily get a seat there where you can keep an eye on your baby. In fact, we did a Ferrari lunch there last summer on a Sunday Ferrari drive.

Bridman, you were right. Great spot, great food. Only wish I had been at the drive last summer. Maybe there'll be another one to Woodman's this summer..............
