    My 1985 Mondial just started blowing fuses. ie the engine boot switch didnt work until I changed the fuse. Also got a problem with the fuel pump. Where does one look to find
    the recommended fuse value for that option. I want to make sure I have the proper
    fuse in the right location.

    thanks

    Do you have the owners manual? It should be in there.

    Hi, I got the owners manual and it tells you what the fuse controls but not the value.
    Unless the A16 and A5'S are decoded somewhere else in the book.

    Thanks for the reply

    The number after the "A" is the amperage rating of the fuse.

    Exactly ----

    Those are the values ----

    A5 = 5 amp
    A16 = 16 amp

    It's a "European thing" ;)

    That cleared it up quickly.. guess I'll have to start learning more about the European culture
    and how they interpret measurement.

    thanks

    Oh, and here is another useful heads-up tip while you are reading through the factory literature -----

    In Europe, they use the comma "," in place of where we (USA) use the decimal point "." --- and, they use a space " " where we use a comma "," in numerical expressions.

    So, for example ---

    124.08 (USA) = 124,08 (Europe) = one-hundred and twenty-four and 8/100ths
    12,408 (USA) = 12 408 (Europe) = twelve-thousand, four-hundred and eight
