Will need to get emissions on my new 430 purchase, where do you go to get yours done? I realize there are likely a lot of people that will tell me to do the Montana thing or register in a non-emissions area, but I don't want to jump through the hoops. Is there a better emissions place for higher end cars to go to that won't screw everything up? Thanks in advance

I recently took my F355 to Air Care Colorado Emissions in Arvada after hearing that several other local owners had used them. They were perfectly pleasant and respectful.

If you live on the south side of the city, the one on Colorado Blvd just south of County Line Rd can be trusted. I just took my Lambo there 2 weeks ago and was very nervous, but they new what to do and it was painless. You should be fine taking it to any of the larger ACC locations as they probably see more exotics than the smaller places, like say Castle Rock.

I use the Dacono location with good success.

It's right off I-25 so it's easy to pull in with hot cats, which gives a better chance of passing if questionable...

Another vote for Dacono. The times I’ve visited, there has been no waiting and they didn’t even get into the car. They just hand me the OBD connector. A longer drive, but that’s good! Ten thumbs down for the S.E. Denver location on Warren Avenue. It’s nice to hear the Arvada location is a good one. It’s always a stressful time for me.

Thank you guys so much for responding. The really nice thing is I live about 5 minutes away from the one in Arvada. But, as mentioned Joe mentioned, maybe I'll just take a cruise up to the Dacono location to get things warm and readiness monitors set. I appreciate you guys greatly.

FYI, Dacono also gets a lot of cars from Scuderia Rampante. I bet that has taught them to appreciate nicer cars a bit.

I try to be respectful and not act entitled to special treatment, but they do seem to try to handle Ferraris with kid gloves.

Fully understood. Through this entire process I've remained as humble as can be, being my first and only Ferrari I'm lucky to even be in this position. I'm definitely no better than anyone else, just really lucky. Thanks again Joe.

Just a resolution update for anyone else who may come across this. Took my car to the Dacono station, they ended up having me pull in to the bay that doesn't even have a dyno/rollers. Tested the gas cap, had me pull forward another 10 feet and had me plug in the OBD tester, checked for codes and readiness monitors, and pull right back out. The wait was 45-ish min getting there a few minutes after opening on a Saturday, total actual test time was less than 2 minutes, and on with my day. Thanks again to everyone who replied.

Little late here but wanted to chime in - I used to smog my Lambos at the Air Care Colorado station off 287 juuuuust between Loveland and Fort Collins. My experience was always exactly like what was mentioned in Dacono: they wouldn't even touch the car. I would drive in to the non-roller lane, they would have me open the gas cap and physically do that test, physically plug in the OBD scanner myself, they wouldn't lift a finger. On one occasion a manager or someone came out and said that it was just too much liability for anyone on his team to touch the car, so they were always very passive about it.
