I have searched the archives because I think that this has been discussed before. Do you keep all your books in the car, and if so, where? You'd think they'd have a nice leather strap to hold them in place like they do for the tools and "spare tire kit". You can leave it all at home, but may need some of the info in an emergency.

The strap is long enough to secure both the tool kit and the pouch which holds the manuals. Italian multitasking.

In the 360 spider that i use, since it was bought brand new,the books were left in the front boot and left there for some months. When the books were taken out they were going mouldy in there leather case, either due to condensation or a leak,When the car went in to the dealer they replaced the seals but it still does it.

I keep mine in the front trunk. I keep all service papers, gas tickets and other misc. items in my desk at work in a folder.

When you say gas tickets, what does that mean? Do you save all your gas reciepts?
