I have a 360 spider and I don't want to clip the door opener on the visor, especially since I park it with the top down all the time. I've tried putting it in the door but then I have to fish around for it when I need it. Same goes for the small compartment in the center back.

I've been thinking about taking mine apart and somehow intergrating it into the area where the clock is. Looks like there may be some room to mount it in there.

    Anyone else have any ideas?

You need a smaller transmitter. You can get one anywhere garage door openers are sold, including home repair centers and Sears. You can purchase one that is small enough to fit in the compartment with the gas port release. You will not have to change the receiver or the garage opener because the transmitters are compatable with almost all garage door openers and will "learn" the transmitting frequency.

Mine fits in the center consol slot between the seats...you can probably buy a smaller remote that fits in there if yours is too big.

You can get a very small one that can go on your key ring. About the same size as the alarm fob.

How about some double sided Velcro tape and stick it somewhere below the steering wheel area?

I already have a mini remote and don't want to add another FOB size to my key chain.

I need a place where it's easily accessible and also hidden, so someone doesn't just come in and take it while its parked. That's why I was looking into a hidden button solution.

It does fit in the center console tray, but it's too visible sitting there.

I may tape it to the inside or the door compartment so you can't see it but I will know where it is and can easily press it.

I bought mine on eBay, its from a corvette and its a visor 3 button flat/flush mount. You need a little bit of work done to your visor. You can connect it to the power in the dome light.

Open the glove box and clip it to the shelf. It fits and doesn't slide around. You can still close the box, at least that works with my remote.

I leave it in the door. (not clipped)

I had my wife cover it in velvet so if it slides there is no noise.
