Happy but Soggy 348 owner. After getting caught in a sudden down-pour yet again (third time this Spring (If you can call it spring)) without the roof panel I am wondering if there is a place to put it so I can take it with me. I have thought of making a bracket out of table legs and cable ties to attach it to the rear as a spoiler but I don't think it would look that good. I have tried putting it behind the seats but then with my 6ft 2inch build I have to drive with my knees round my ears. So any suggestions of what to do with the roof panel. or maybe I should just drive in a raincoat and carry a big umbrella. Grin, Harry Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hmm.. maybe your seat does not go back as far as it should when the roof is behind the seat? Im 6-1 tall and I can fit in my 348 fairly comfortably when the roof is in. I acually never take it out of the car in case it rains. ..the 6 days a year that it rains in Arizona of course. Maybe check the seats or see if the roof is planted as far back as it can be on the floor?
I have seen a 348/355 targa top that is made of fabric and folds away for storage. Although I read that they are very rare and expensive.
Here is my folder. Never have gotten it to fit perfectly, BUT it does fit perfectly on the back package tray when not in use. Image Unavailable, Please Login
