There have been posts before on the "slow down" warning light, warning about Cat converter overheating. Technistrata posted this helfpul information https://technistrada.com/ferrari-slow-down-light-explained-and-solved---technistrada...

I'm just not mechincally savvy. I want to buy these aftermarket Cat ECUs and replace them myself. I can't find them in the engine bay. Does anyone have a video or detailed photos of where these are located? I believe there are 2 on the 550.

Other posts have referred to the video by the youtuber Ratarossa, but he is dealing with a 456, not a 550.

#39 I think. Follow the line from the temp sensor up to the ECU. Yes, you will need to get underneath the car... Yes, you will need a jack and jack stands... Yes you will get dirty.
