    My 575M F1 is now 2 years and 9,600 miles old; (2,800 miles in last 3 weeks)

    I have been on 3 good trips; Le Mans and back, Monaco & back, Ferrari Factory & back

    I have driven it in anger on a few good circuits;
    Le Mans, Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Mallory Park, Bruntingthorpe, Rheims, Monaco (slightly) Hockenheim.

    I have done 2 velocity drives; 1 mile;
    175mph Terminal Velocity 2004,
    182mph Drivers Run Top Speed 2005

    Still has the same set of tyres, brakes discs are knackered, otherwise, apart from my service cock up that is ongoing with Maranello after-sales, lovely car.

    What do you think about putting a set of these 10 spoke wheels (like the silver one) and Pirelli's on it? Compare this to how it looks now

    For me they're too similar to what you already have. So if it was me I couldn't justify the expense of changing them

    inkboy360; Singen is north of Zurich in the south of G-E-R-M-A-N-Y.

    I am going to have to get you French lessons, I mean, German lessons, its just 40 miles North east of Zurich. Find Konstanz and then look 1 inch to the left. Its a museum I presume, if you are wanting to go, lets do a Drivers Run there, no Police, no vast prices, do a track on the way back, Nurbuirgring or something, Make a trip of it.

    Wow, but would they take a good belting around the track?

    If they are genuine quality wheels, well, they are bit over the top for me, I need a set of tyres and I don't much like the wheels on the 575m now, so thanks for your advice, you are right £4.5k for the 10 spokes, lots of money, but I will probably get them and retire the old girl, she's 2 now, nearly 10k, past it, keep her for afternoon drives with the wife and one or two of Davy's runsa year.

    RAY360M; Young Davy has been grounded for the week. Smacked his arse and sent him to bed without his supper.

    No seriously; Mr Pressman has been chasing them all for the last few days, he gets everywhere, I have spoken to him and sent him the truth, Lawyers written details of exactly what the position is, still ongoing, The German Police are desperate, been bad boys, bit of a Kangaroo court job on Davy and Co, they were late and driving fast. They hav no whitnes to say they were misbehaving so the German Police have no evidence, so the boys have all gone to ground rather than be misquoted.

    Germany is fine if you travel in small groups and don't give the German public any reason to ring up and complain about you, like, don't overtake them in a supercar with English plates.

    Funny though, not one of them would give a bad story to the Police about the boys so they could find grounds to prosecute or fine them. Today they have no evidence other than the film the boys were carrying.

    It also helps if you don't follow a bunch of mad drunk English sods a few weeks after they went through upsetting the Germans, thats what went wrong. Anyway, you can read about it tomorrow.

    Actually, 3 quarters of "a very interesting old Grand Prix circuit at Rouen" - :D

    Leave Rouen (South) and head onto the N138, turn left into the village of Foret de Rouvray keep going to a T-junction and turn left et voila.

    Pits were on the right where the fenced off concrete is & T1 ahead. At the bottom of the hill take the hairpin then as you head up the other side of the valley notice the concrete blocks blocking the overgrown right hander that disappears into the trees. MEGA old circuit.

    Had the car just on 12 months now, done just over 13,000 miles, in the first three weeks I did 3,000 miles across Europe with P.Heads EuroHoon, France, Belgium, Germany (me and a DB9 got pulled at 162 but they only wanted to look at the cars!), Switzerland, Austria, right down the Alps to Italy then back up through France. Have done one V.Max at Bruntingthorpe, and last month took it down to Nerja on the Costa del Sol.

    All in all, superb and the car is going like a train!
