Where is 250GTE #2755 ? Trying to reunite it with its original engine

    Does anyone have any information on 2755? I acquired the original engine for it recently and would consider swapping engines so as to reunite my engine with its rightful owner. Having this or a different non-matching engine makes little difference to me.
    Thanks in advance for any information.

    I believe it was parted out in Virginia in the 1990s.

    Fleming began parting it out in the 1970s.

    Do you know the whereabouts of 330GT 2+2 S/N 8153 by any chance?
    I have a 330 engine, interno number 1392, which I am told belongs to her. She was in the either Oregon or Washington back in 2009. Hopefully she still exists.

    The engine for 8153 was reported in 330 GT 5763 back in 2009. 5763 was for sale by Cornerstone Auto Group in Portland, OR. At the time, the chassis number had been filed off the block. Engine identified from the 1392 number.

    Just previously to that, Coys auction house sold 8153 at a Monaco auction in 5/2009. Nothing was said about what engine was in the car at that time. The car was on Italian plates then. You could check with Coys and see if they will pass on the information about the engine to the buyer. However, auction houses are very closed mouth about their clients.

    Very cool of you actually being concerned with re-uniting engines with their chassis.

    Is there some kind of list that catalogs which 250 shells still survive without their motors and where the motors are?

    I believe 3637 still exists, now with Ford power.
