As the subject says, the wife and I are heading to Vegas next week for a short trip. We have been to many of the high-end spots and have enjoyed them all. Picasso, Le Cirque, etc. The wife was watching Rachel Ray (is it me, or is she one of the most annoying women in the world, and she has the ugliest breasts on tv) the other day and she was dining at Carnevino. Many visitors claimed it was the "best steak" they have ever eaten. Located in the Palazzo hotel.

    Anyone been there?

Any other recommendations for something different?

    Thanks.

Robuchon @ the mansion is 1 of the very best restaurants in the world...

If you're into steaks, don't go though.

Samba in the Mirage, not High End, but soooooo good! It is a Brazilian Steakhouse with about 10 different meats that they serve to you off of the skewer they cook the meats on, and all you can eat!

Thanks for the replies. I should add that my wife does not eat ANY seafood. Very strange, especially since she is Japanese, but no seafood for her. This makes a lot of the pri-fix menus difficult for us.

    Thanks for the posts.

We have tried a brazillian BBQ place before and it was SOOOO good.

My wife actually came up with that username for me after my daughter was born - I was looking for a clever screen name for my Party Poker account. I have received lots of reaction to it, some positive, some thinking that I am some kind of weirdo. Either way, that's the story behind it - sounds kinda lame now huh?

As for the brazilian, the wife is familiar with it!

Had the strangests dream last night about a yellow 360 - I was running around showing it off with a flat tire and one of you guys was telling me how much money it was gonna cost to fix the rim, etc.
